power locks won't lock, but will unlock

on my 1999 GA GT, the power lock button (as well as the remote) will unlock the doors, but they will not lock the doors. I have to manually lock each door. Isn't it weird that it will unlock, but not lock?? when i hit the unlock button, it's like it makes the normal sounds and actions with the lights and all, it just doesn't unlock. i am hoping it's just a fuse or something easy. any ideas, advice, experience???? thanks

i just had the same problem but with only th passenger side door, i did figure it out though. it was the relay on the drivers side fuse panel. i found it for $9.00 at autzone. hope this helps.
