I have a 96 s10 blazer, and im wanting to upgrade it so i can race it and do fairly well. Its the 4 door model, hope that doesnt hurt. According to websites the 0-60 is 9.5 stock, what are some things i can do to race my 0-60 time and 1/4 mile time? and can someone tell me of anyone who has a blazer like mine, and what it turns on the track?
-Thanks- -Aaron- |

Re: Performance Upgrades
The Blazer is an SUV, NOT a race machine.
It is not intended, built, setup or targeted towards speed. You will have to dump LOADS of money to make it anything close to a racing machine. Face it, it weighs two TONS.

Re: Performance Upgrades
It also has the aerodynamics of a brick.

If you want to go fast, buy a sports car or at least SOMETHING intended for that purpose. For the money of upgrading a blazer to be fast, you can easily buy a slightly older low mileage mustang.

You could always try turning it into a early '90s style GMC Typhoon
(Quite fast for a dynamic brick, a turbo charged 4.3) Search for Typhoon/Syclone parts here; http://search.ebay.com/typhoon-syclone_W0QQfkrZ1QQfnuZ1 |
