Question V-tec or Not?

I hav a Honda Civic 92 Si HatchBack and ive been told its a V-tec but i dont believe it. If i check under the hood theres nothing that says
V-Tec on it. On my whole car, i dont see any V-tec.
Is it V-tec or Not?
Maybe theres another way i can tell if it is??

Re: V-tec or Not?

Yes it's vtec, as long as the stock motor is in there. Just look for the vtec solenoid (circled in green): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/DVC00042.jpg

Re: V-tec or Not?

look on the top left hand corner of your valve cover and you should see a vtec solenoid,if not its not a vtec

p.s. if you don't know what a solenoid looks like look it up on google images
