e36 328i heater blower resistor?

The heater blower of my 328i 96 works on and off.
I have read some post's to replace blower motor resistor pack.
I could only find blower motor resistor tried all online parts stores.
It is green with a black 4prong connector.
Tried to find its location under driverside.
Is this even the right part for this car? Does anyone know more about this part and Tshoot? Should I replace the esistor or resistor pack?
Thanks

The problem your having is your climate control unit.
I sent my climate control unit to the guy selling the repair service on ebay.
His ebay name is ccobsinc.
This guy repaired it and it works mint now.
Send your unit to him! Saved me a ton of money!

I too am experiencing the same problem with my 96 328i conceriing the blower. The car is equiped with the dual zone digital displays. When it does work all of the controls appear to work properly. However when the control panel does not lite up nothing works. I noticed that there was a relay to your post suggesting that you send the unit off to someone on e-bay for repair. Did you send it off for repair and if so what was the result? Thanks

heater resistor

HI, your problem is very simple. Go to the dealer and buy and heater resistor ( cost about 115 canadian dollar) sorry i am living in toronto, canada. that's very simple. I got the same problem, the blower blew but no heat/air or very little of them coming out. My friend is a mechanic guy told me to buy that thing at the dealer and put in by himself, took like 10 mins. Trust me my friend, it works.
