Arrow A few 96 windstar questions

Hello everyone, my dad owns a 96 windstar GL with the 3.8 split port induction. I'm wondering just how hard can I run this engine without having to worry about blowing it up or slinging a rod or some shit like that, I mean the phucker has 7,000 on the tach but I've only ran it to around 5,500 or so. It has the 3 speed w/O.D. and i'm really wanting my dad to get another van (this one is already a piece of shit) I don't want to see him pour any more cash into a hopeless P.O.S. vehicle, and blowing it up is the only way he won't put anything else into it , I mean come on he paid ford 1300 dollars to change every fluid in the damn thing and rotate the tires, and then ford charged him $658.32 to fix the piece of shit sliding door on it. and the fucking air conditioner leaks water into the passenger floorboard when it's turned on (thank god it ain't summer anymore) and the heater in this thing is a piece of shit as well, it has already been totalled out 2 or 3 times by the insurance company because of various wrecks and the air bags still haven't gone off, that caused my dad to spend some time in the hospital but he still refuses to get another vehicle until this one quits so I'm gonna start running the living hell out of it and help wear and tear out a little. It has become obvious to me that this phucker is a really unsafe vehicle even though there ain't shit wrong with the vehicle besides it's a damn money pit, and I'm starting to worry if this will be the vehicle that kills my father, or me, or any of my friends that's in it or some innocent bystander that had nothing to do with this piece of shit.

Re: A few 96 windstar questions

damn right front suspension folded under last night on a on ramp. I was going about 40, but at least this time it didn't wait until I got on the interstate. I'm also glad my dad wasn't driving. I'd rather the piece of shit hurt me than my father.

No doubt the Windstar is asking the same thing about you.
