b20z into a 96 civic ex

i was curious how hard it would be to install a b20z 99-00 motor into a 1996 civic ex 5speed

i am getting a complete b20z for 850 dollars off a friend

and also how will it run i plan on doin the vtec head conversion later on but untill then how would the b20z run with say intake/header/exhaust/ecu
