Heres another , Im replacing the belt on a 2000 taurus and need to know what I need to do to loosen the old one and replace it. I seen a star wrench on the adjuster and can loosen it but before I do, I want to make sure this is how its done?
Any advice? |

I have a 2000 ses and my tensioner has a 15mm bolt....I understand you can get a special tool for that job (because theres no room for a rachet)....but I used a regular box wrench on the bolt and then hooked another wrench on the open end and pulled it clockwise and it was a piece of cake
