88 Civic DX won't start

So I go change the air filter in my car this morning then go to start it; it won't start.

The car started a few days ago no problem... I'm new to reciprocating motors and dunno what's going on.

All I did was pull off one of the spark plug wires and put it back on. Given it's raining pretty hard, any chance I just need to let things dry perhaps?

Don't think so; It was pouring rain so I didn't bother to do much checking around the engine bay.

Might sound stupid, but check your battery terminals. Also check your ignition coil, it should read btw 3-5 ohms.

Re: 88 Civic DX won't start

So I got it running.

Turns out the plugs were fouled... Wiped em clean and the car started easy as always.
