Post Skylines : Progress

After I screwed up the paint job on my Tamiya R34 Skyline GTR I stripped the paint off but it still didn’t look good enough to save so ive got to buy the kit again I then bought the Tamiya R32 Skyline GTR and have started that for now. Ive started the body and I am so pleased with the paint job in TS38 gunmetal with 2 coats of Halfords clear and cut back with Tamiya compound. The best paint job of all my 4 models so far. Trust me the pics don’t do it justice. Plans for the R32 include carbon fibre bonnet, different wheels (not sure what ones yet), big exhaust, SAS disc brakes and SAS corsa seats. Plans for the R34 are nismo bodykit, different wheels possibly volk racing CE28's and big exhaust Remember im still a newbie at this so advice and comments welcome.

looking good. I like the yellow pan.
Don't throw the other one away, just strip the paint and start over

i assume the yellow chassis is from the now trashed Skyline, and the Gunmetal Skyline body is a different newer kit? yeah a new Skyline or two.... have you clear-coated the Gunmetal Sky-L yet? nice work.

Yeh the body from the r34 yellow one is trashed and the body in gunmetal is from the r32 kit. I have clear coated the body and is finished apart from the window surrounds need painting just waiting for my tamiya masking tape to arrive.
