Floor mount dimmer switch in 90 f250
I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with these poorly placed switches??? I'm on my 3rd one in 8 months!
 The one thqat was in there when I got the truck was warn out but it still worked sometimes. Then the one i replaced it with warn out completely to the point the lights didn't come on at all. Then the 1st of this month i replaced it again then a week later the this malfunctioned. So Iput the 3rd one in and it still don't work right. I'm thinking it is the harness that connects to the switch. So I have to options.... I could replace the harness part of the piece or I could just cob job it and buy cheap elec connectors and just do it that way? What do you guys think? Thanks

I got the first one at Auto Zone, then the last two at Advanced Auto.

Try a switch from Napa and see how much longer it lasts. The quality is usually better and the price is not much more.
