headers are a killer..

ok am i the only one in the world with a third gen with full length headers.....maybe not cuz my buddy has got full length too and were both S.O.L on a y pipe pre bent...DOES ANYONE MAKE ANYTHIN or have any ideas on what i can do. i am short on money and open headers in winter just gets plain annoying hahah shortys are not welcomed and i dont wanna go to them.

hmm.. I dont know about your area.. But at the muffler shops around here, i found it was alot cheaper for them to just bend whatever pipe I needed, wether it be y-pipe, over axle pipe, etc etc.. Ive never used a pre-bent exhaust componant in my life..

My 91' Z needed a new y-pipe (backed off a 1' ledge) because it had the dual cats, GM wanted over $1000 for a new y-pipe.. my shop bent a new one and installed it for $150

Ha! I know what you mean.. my exhaust system as of now consists of a 2' piece of 3" pipe off the turbo.. Its LOUD as hell and if im idling the cab fills up with exhaust and I go to my happy place

because I only have 2' of pipe off my engine, so the exhaust comes out right under the cab by the firewall..


And the Y-pipe was crimp bent.. But they used larger pipe so it stil flows better than stock
