nitrous is beat, especially if your car's performance relies heavily on it.

Ummmm....
How about nitrous in a Focus SVT?? NOS is a great way to make your car faster, especially running the 1/4 mile. Cheaper then most other things to have installed, only costs 75 bucks to fill (depending on the size of the tank and where you get it) and not many modifactions required to the motor to run it, depending on what you want to do with it. I suppiose the flip side of the coin is that if NOS is all you use to improve your car's performance, what a waste. Destroys your car cuz you're obviously running on it all the time. You have to be smart about it, just like everything else. Just my PS: I believe in natural aspiration myself...you just can't knock the product because it's misrepresented.

Re: what if
i'm not a big fan of NOS.
it doesn't do anything else except help you set fast times in straight lines. also, it runs out.... but then if that's all you want/need from your car then who cares. you have your fun in straight lines, i have my fun in corners. |

Re: what if
ITS NITROUS GUYS NITROUS. damn fast and the furious crowd. Anywho...
the skyline GT-R puts out 276 whp, not 300. And nitrous is fantastic.....for drag racing but thats it. and a civic would be lucky to push 160 let alone 210. if you have a nitrous set up then you arent running it all the time so it doesnt destory your engine. nitrous burns cleaner and at a higher temperature (hence why you need bigger spark producing spark plugs) and burns up all the un used full stuck in your engine so its really cleaning it in a way. |
