Im wondering if anyone would have any information or tips to removing two front captain seats and center console from a 97 chevrolet Silverado Ext Cab, and replacing them with a front bench seat.
i am possibly leaning more towards an actual front bench from another chevy rather than some aftermarket company. thanks again. |

Re: Bench Front Seat
I'm not sure but I think you just start unbolting. Make sure to disconnect any electrical connections.

Re: Bench Front Seat
Sometimes the rail height is different between standard and extended cab bench seats. Best check into this first. I swapped over in my 90 to a split bench and had to mod the height of one of the raisls.

bench seat
I have a bench seat out of my '88 that should fit if you are willing to trade for your captain seats. The seat is blue and may need a little padding on the driver's side.
