2jz into an 86-91 supra?

Hello. I'm sure this is may be an obvious question to those who live and breathe Supra (I'm a DSM kid who wants to move onto better things), which is why I must ask [Begin severe n00b questions]: Is it possible to put a 2jz-gte, either U.S spec or JDM, into an 86-91 Supra with either minimal, moderate, or severe fabrication? Is the engine present in this Supra a v6, or inline? Also, what mk is the 86-91 Supra?

Thanks.

Uh, I can't answer your more immediate question, but I can tell you that right now you have a 7m-ge under the hood, which is a 3.0 liter Inline 6 cylender 24valve dual overhead cam 200 horsepower beast. (turbo models put out 30 more ponies and about 60 more pounds of torque.) Yours is an mkIII and i have heard that the swap is doable, but haven't heard any stories of it actually being done.

Re: 2jz into an 86-91 supra?

this question has been asked so many times, and the answer is yes, it can be done. heard that it cost some money but it can be done. the present engine in the supras are inline 6, and the 86-92 supras are all MK3.
