What did you pay for your 4th generation accord (90-93)

Just got one about 3 months ago. 91 Accord SE with 172,000 on it.

Scale of 1-10. I'd give it a solid 8.35

Paid $1300 for it (good deal, I think! ) and dumped 800 into it. Now mechanically it's in great shape and hopefully will be needing very little in the next few years.

No rust anywhere on it. All original - bone stock.

My neighbor owned it from new so i know the whole history of it.

Whats your story?

i am lookin at a 93 EX right now for $2000. Its a MT, very clean, no rust and 165k miles. I think its a good deal, if anything were to happen to the motor I have some experience rebuilding a 2.2.

i got a 92 accord with 173k miles on it for the total cost of.....nada! My uncle just gave it to me when he bought a new car because he liked it so much and wanted to keep it in the family or something. But it does leak oil and coolant and the ground wire is shredded pretty bad, but the motor is in great shape. my uncle was the original owner and i have the original window sticker and bill of sale. Pretty nice, it will probly cost a bunch to fix up though...

I paid $200 for mine, and have replaced the cv, and front tires. 156,000 miles. She's a beast, but it has done a good job of getting me around.

Re: What did you pay for your 4th generation accord (90-93)

my 93 DX 4-dr was 1300 at auction with 190k -- just needed tires, battery and brakes so it was 1700 total -- the thing was listed as abandoned so no one knew the history but she made it from Phila to SoCali where we moved and runs like a dream at almost 200k

well...

well, i paid 3400 for mine...butttt
its a 92 lx with 70Kmi perfect condition, no paint probs, everything perfect, just like it had come off the showroom. I bought it from an old lady and she bought it brand new. Still has the window sticker, all 3 keys, even the little dangely thing that hangs down for the cruse controll.
:-) im so happy with it.

I just bought a 1990 accord Ex 4dr with 118,000 miles for 2500.00. A bit on the high side but it just had a tun of repairs done.

New water pump, timming belt, coil, Ignitor, tires, battery and a couple others I know I missed. Body is in pretty good condition except for the normal places a honda rusts at, interior is perfect.
