1993 Sonoma 4.3

Plug running from distributor to coil, burnt off. Replaced item. Vehicle still want start.. Added gas to tank. as level showed more than HALF-A-TANK. Nothing. But when we poured gas into the carb, the truck start up...then died. Found the fuel filter, but could not get it off.

Where is the fuel pump located?

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

FYI the fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank.
Since the fuel tank must be removed to access the fuel tank, caution is the byword.
I'd suggest getting a Haynes Repair Manual for this model, well worth the money.
