cc for cc a 2 stroke is faster... hands down.... more powerful in EVERY way....

I'll leave it to you to discover how it is they make them comparable... (hint- 4 stroke motors are about twice the displacement in the same 'class' of racing)

so why is it that they let the 4 strokes play with the 2 strokes anyways

mostly because the 2's can't meet the new emission standards.... rather than R&D the 2's to meet these standards, they have chosen to migrate to 4's instead, which can meet the standards.... so as not to have twice the number of classes, and all the debate that woudl go with that, they give the 4's twice the CC's and BAM, it's competitive again....

I ride a 2 and love 2's, but I have nothing against 4's and this seems fair, at least for now.... what really matters is that the riders are all on bikes of comparable power, and that is what we have now with this system.

Yea, but some of the racers are turning to 4 strokers.. but I do agree 2 strokes are faster. There just less..emmision friendly.
