Re: turning noise

Do you feel a vibration in the steering wheel? If so then it's your power steering pump, there's nothing wrong with it, it's just telling you not to turn to far.

Re: turning noise

if you notice that your power steering fluid is ok and stuff..you might want to check your power steering resevior tube... (going from resevior to power steering pump itself) i just fixed my becuase the hose was crimping itself...just get a clamp or zip tie to keep it round instead of crimped...worked for me.

hmmm...

first thing i would do would be... Turn the wheel to left lock feel around tire see if anything is even close to touching then the opposite way...then after those tests go for the Power Steering stuff...Right now when i go in reverse and have a little Brake Pressure for some reason the back left brake grabs and goes and vibrates really loud..only in reverse anyone maybe know why? but still answer this guys question...

Re: turning noise

or just dont drive with power-steering, lol you get used to it. I havent had power steering for about 1.5 years now. Then i got my new 240 with power steering and god damn im all over the road lol its so touchy and responsive. But all is good now, just had to get used to the power steering again. Although without power steering i seem to "feel" the road better. Its weird you just have to try it.

Re: turning noise

Check to see if the wheel well plastic shit is sticking out. I had the same problem. That plastic stuff would get caught on the tire and make quite a bit of racket when backing up. Fixed it with some wire or a zip tie. Can't remember which. Good luck.

Re: turning noise

As of now, the problem piece is cut off to allow flow to the side mount I have jammed in there. I only cut about a foot up on the drivers side off.
