New technique! Ultima GTR

i tried a new technique two days ago! it went really cool! i like it, the nicest way to do a black car!=)
0.5 mm black marker used
2mm black marker used
and a H graphite pencil!
nothing fancy, but the drawing took me 3 hours, because u cant make mistakes with marker.

I Love it! Contrast is great and gives the car a real shine.

Looks damn great. You always use a grid, don't you?

Re: New technique! Ultima GTR

yes i use a grid for the most, but on this one, i hade three lines vertical, and 4 lines horisontal, and when the size of the car and the whell roundness is finished, i erase the lines, so i do all details and everything freehand, because i want to be good without any help.
my sketching turns out pretty ok, but i never take photos of them.

Re: New technique! Ultima GTR

Wow. So if you did that without a detailed grid its even more admirable. You seem to have very good eyes and a calm hand.
