vacuum lines?

I was just wondering if there are any vacuum lines that could directly effect an 86 Wagoneer tranny from not shifting into reverse. It just doesn't do anything. I posted a few days ago about reverse being gone and people seemed thing that the reverse band was gone. Because when my 4x4 stopped engaging I replaced the vacuum line to the transfer case and that fixed that up, anything similar for reverse?

I do not think so, however I would invest 15.00 in a repair manual, that might help you out.
