Performance mod order Olds 403

My short term goal is to upgrade my parts to a mild street set up.
The engine is an Oldsmobile 403 with a Rochester Q-Jet 4bbl Carb #M4MC
I plan to do the following work:

Remove Air Pump - Done
Remove EGR
Intake Manifold (Edelbrock 3711) - Bought
Mild Cam (Edelbrock 3712)
New Valve Springs (Edelbrock 5812)
New Timing Chain (Edelbrock 7813)
Exaust Headers (Probably Headman, any suggestions?)
Flow Master Exaust (any suggestions on muffler? should I use cats?)
MSD Ignition System - Maybe, yes if I decide to go for a more aggressive setup.

Probably other little engine parts replacement too, even though I dont need them because the engine only has 33,000 miles on it.

Any other suggestions?
What order should I do this in?

When you put the new intake youll be dumping the EGR then. I would run the exhaust first keeping in mind the mods you plan on doing. I also would not run cats. Don't run 3" straight pipe either, but I ran dual exhaust with dynomax mufflers, no cats, becuase I was ona budget as well and it sounds great with plenty of flow for my engine. Headman headers are fine and so are flowmasters if your going for that sound. Because the miles are so low on the engine I might wait til later on the cam and head work...but thats just me.

Well I don't have a problem with the budget; the maifold can work with the EGR or it can be blocked off, the choice is obviouse. The exaust will be a true dual of course, but as for the rest of it I havent made a pick due to the varienty out there, depending on how loud the mufflers are I will or wont use cats.

I ran 2 1/4" pipes and the dynomax mufflers were fairly quiet so i decided against the cats. It still sounds good. You could also rework the heads when you go in and do the cam swap. Ignition is an easy upgrade too.

I'm not gona do the ignition for a while because I'm not doing anything to my compression or anything major in terms of timing. However I am getting a new Vacume Advance cuz this 27 yeard POS is good as dead.
