I am coming across more free time and was thinking about this.

in the street racing aspect of AF, we should have a 2004 awards show on the forums, where people vote for each person they choose on a certain category. I did it when i was mod at PWS and it seemed really fun. It would basically go like this..
(note , this is an example, the actual award may differ)

The award for the person who didn't know what they were talking about (the type r assclown award) goes to....... Burntrice!

etc... like it would be

The award for the best written racing story goes to... (Blank)

where you'll all assign the questions and the awards, and i'll do the math and get it all set up.

if it's stupid, let me know and i'll drop the idea, but i for one think it would be alot of fun.

that would be pretty damn good, but burntrice obviously gets the jackass award and redneck gets the pulitzer...but it is a good start.

first category should be fastest corolla...ME!!!

where will we get the categories from? do you want us to all chip in and submit ideas for categories? should we set a deadline?

ok cool. I was thinking this...

requirements...

had to be a member in 2004... december 20th and before to apply and vote. (you gotta be there to know what is going on ya know)

i would like it if people here gave idea's and awards (and even graphical ones... those are the coolest) and like ideas for categories. (i can think of only so much you know)

I'll make the deadline after i get all the categories and the people you request for each one. (i would be biased in that sense.) and when i get the categories and the people, i'll make a list and post it, and have people PM me their choice. Remember, it must be PM'd or ill have to get a mod to delete your post... we can't have an unfair election ya know)..

any other output would be greatly appreciated.

well it won't just be "best kill" but like best kill in a sedan, best kill in a jeep, etc... and then the best kill story... one that you look at and can really visualize would be my suggestion

and yes, there will be a bmw nazi award as well

let's see if someone can make a good graphic for that as well (something like 2 inches square all around)
