99 SC1 check engine light

i have a 99 SC1 with approx 60K on it. over the past month the check engine light has been off and on. The first time that it was on then went off was after i refueled. Maybe cap wasn't tight enough. 100+- miles later light came on again. Bought new cap. Light off. Full tank = light back on. Ran approx half of fuel out and now the light is off again. I wouldn't really care right now, but I need to pass inspection by the end of the month? Any suggestions?

Re: 99 SC1 check engine light

go to Autozone or another local parts store, many will read OBD2 codes for free. the code will help us determend the problem

I've had the same, well a similar problem with mine. My trunk light keeps going off and on. Problem w/ mine is that my check engine and check oil light NEVER come on. Just saw the post and had something to say
