Supercharged Monte vs Lt1 maro

I've ridden in both, and the maro is definitely more fun to drive/ride in but which is faster. From a dead stop to 100. I'm refering to the 2004 SS here.

the camaro is faster, the supercharged front wheel drive v6's usually run low 15's sometimes high 14's but the stock lt1 camaro's even though they are older ran between mid to low 14's. i've seen some lt1 stock maro's run solid 14.0 and even one run a 13.9... that happens quite often that you see camaros that will perform much better than what they are rated at...

why wouldn't they make a v8 supercharged monte carlo? to keep the sales with camaro and corvette?
