how to achieve good burnouts with a manual

Ever since ive had my GT i refrained from showing off my cars monster torque and not smoking the rears because....(1.) i dont wanna attract the po-po and (2.) i really dont know how to....My old Automatic Mustang GT(95 5.0L) was pretty simple to burn out and all i had to do was mash the gas pedal....According to my friend...is revving the engine to 4K and dropping the clutch and keepin the gas pedal to the floor the best way to get a good burnout??? or is thier other good techniques??

right when ya hit the gas pop the clutch and you will have a sexy burnout, but poppin the clutch isnt too healthy for the clutch, and dont rev too high

hold hte brake with your right heel and press the gas with your right toe. rev the motor to 3 or 4 grand and pop the clutch in 2nd gear. smoke em all day long, or at least as logn as your back brakes last. or get a line-lock kit so you don't kill your back brakes.

Get a Line Lock, install it, then set your front brake, then step on the gas and ease into the clutch.

Dropping the clutch crap........ is gonna make your clutch crap.

Go to this site SLP Performance and order "brake control" aka Line lock. It's cheap at only $130 and is not anywhere as expensive as doing a clutch job.

Line lock is the way to go
$130 is pretty expensive for a line lock. Here are cheaper ones:
http://store.summitracing.com/eprodu...4920390+307285
http://store.summitracing.com/eprodu...4920390+300822
http://store.summitracing.com/eprodu...4920390+301367
The SLP one is specific-fit, but a line lock isn't that complicated, I'm sure the universal ones are pretty easy to install. And as cheap as $40.

I know $130 seems expensive, but consider the person that is installing it, I try to make things as simple as possible.
