Temperature guage running too cold
I have a '97 CRV (110 K miles) and recently noticed the temperature guage was running very low. After about a week, the guage never picks up off of the floor.
Coolant level is fine, however heat doesn't seem to be working to well, sometimes feel like it doesn't work at all (living in CT where temps are pretty low). Is this just a case of me needing to change the thermostat? If so, can someone who's handy and willing to try it but not experience with working on cars do, or should I have a mechanic (or dealership) perform this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Re: Temperature guage running too cold
Yes the problem is your thermostat. If you are not comfortable working on the car then take it to a shop.
