Hpi Micro rs4

I just recently purchased the rtr version of hpi's micro rs4. These are very very awesome cars. I fell in love with it as soon as I got it running, its a blast. Plus, there are so many hop ups for them, I now have the AAA adapters in the car itself, and the car zips pretty good. I cannot wait until I get the 7.2 rechargeable for this little monster. Sorry no pics ...But i did do an interesting paintjob on the skyline body i purchased, it looks like a cracked peice of concrete. Pretty cool airbrush technique. I Know ttiwwop! Maybe ill see if i can get a link to show you guys.

Re: Hpi Micro rs4

Sounds good.
I have noticed however, on this board. When HPI is mentioned there is an unexplained silence from EVERYONE.
I also bought a Micro RS4 Ready to Run. Didn't your body come pre-painted, or did you buy another. I bought a Saleen Mustang, but it sits clear, in my room unpainted so far.

That's a little strange, if its from "EVERYONE". I guess no one has anything to say about it, I guess no post is a good post. Hmm, I was thinking about buying one because I'm slowly getting into the sport but don't really have the time to sit down and put the kit together myself. Any good pointers you guys got for me? Or should I just go and get the 1/10 scale and go with that?

Before getting a micro (1/18 and smaller) you should consider where you plan to run and what you plan to do with it. If you're mainly going to run where space is limited (such as on your driveway or in your basement) a micro would be a good choice. Not that micros can't be run in a wide open lot, but their ability to run in tight places is their main benefit. If you plan to race, a micro may not be your best option. While micros are very capable of racing, participation can be spotty. There's nothing worse than going to the track just to find out there are not enough participants to run your class.
