Question 98 Z71 Driverside Suspension Clunk?

Need Help With This Problem., Front Drivers Side Has A Clunk In The Suspension If You Grab The Top Of The Tire And Push And Pull, A Clunk Can Be Heard And Felt In The Tire, Also When Driving Over Small Bumps At Low Speeds Is Very Noticable. Passanger Side Has No Sounds When Shaking Or Driving. Could This Be A Torsion Bar Adjustment, Bushings In The Front, Or Ball Joints ......please Help!!!!!!!!

Check your shock bushing first. I have seen that several times. If they check out then make sure the eccentrics have not loosend up.

JUST TO ADD, IF THE DRIVERS SIDE IS JACKED UP, THERE IS NO SOUND OR SIGN OF ANYTHING BEING LOOSE. ONLY WHEN THE TRUCK IS ON ALL FOURS.... I DID PREV. TO THE SOUND STARTING, GIVE A CRANK ON THE DRIVER SIDE TORSION BAR ADJUSTER BOLT. AFTER I NOTICED THE CLUNK I RETURNED IT TO THE ORIGINAL POSITION. I ALSO HAD NEW SHOCKS PUT ON AFTER THE CLUNK STARTED THINKING MAYBE A BAD SHOCK? IM PRETTY GOOD WITH AUTOS "SHADE TREE" BUT, eccentrics ??? HOW WOULD I CHECK THAT? THANKS FOR THE HELP

If you have had the truck aligned and the mechanic did not tighten the eccentrics tight enough they will loosen up.Check and make sure they are tight.
When you jack the truck up are you lifting the frontend up from under the a-arm? If not you will not be able to tell what exactly may bee loose.

Found It!!!!! Good Call!!!!! The Bolts Going Thru The Top Of The Shocks Are Just Bouncing Around In The Sleeve. Is There Supposed To Be A Bushing Inside The Top Sleeve? All The Bolts Are Facing The Correct Way...theres Atleast 1/2" Of Play At The Top Of The Shock... Its A 98 Z71 Xc...the Shock Is A Monroe Sensa-track "cheap" #37130 Thanks Agian

Yes there should be bushing and a sleeve. You should be able to get replacement bushings and sleeves at a local auto parts store. Energy suspension makes a sleeve and bushing that is a bit better than the factory rubber bushings and will last longer.
