do i need a new camber kit?

i was planning on buying tokico springs shocks and struts in a kit for my 2000 civic si. the kit will drop the car 1.5 inches and i have 17s on it. but before i buy, i was wondering if i need to buy a new camber kit or whatever i need so i dont have any problems.. if anyone could help that would be great. thanks

ya i think so because i lowered my crx and i had to put new cambers on it, but im not 100% sure.

Anything less than a 2" drop you really don't need a camber kit. You just want to make sure you get an alignment soon after you drop your car since toe also changes which can wear your tires pretty fast.

ok thanks. so the alignment just needs to be adjusted when i drop it and ill be fine? what are some other things i should watch out for?

You should watch out for speed bumps, steep driveways, and potholes. Also you may have problems getting your car on lifts unless you bring 2x4s with you.

Yes good advise always keep some 2x4's or something similar so that if you have a flat tire etc you can get the jack under your car.

so your saying that anything lower than a 2 inch drop i wont need a camber kit????

No you won't. It's going to obviously give you little negative camber, but more than likely not anything outside of factory specs.
