V8 Conversion

Hello, my name is Drew and I was wondering if anyone knows of a V8 conversion kit for a 2001 Monte. I want to pull the little v6 and possibly drop in a V8 if it's possible. If anyone knows or can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks, Drew

Re: V8 Conversion

Good luck finding a transverse v8 that'll fit in there.

Re: V8 Conversion

I guess you could try to fit a northstar in it, no kits that I'm aware of, but now that I think more about it, it'd probably (tightly) fit in the engine compartment. You'll have a fun project with that one. Lots of custom stuff there.

Re: V8 Conversion

Thanks for the advice, that's the way a friend (who knows alot more than I do) were thinking of going. Not too worried about the custom parts. I just want to build this car into what a true Monte should be.
