2500HD Grill questions

Can i replace my HD grill with a standard 1500 or 2500 grill?
i Have a black painted grill off of a 01 suburban i would like to put on my 02 HD. Are the headlights the same also?

p.s. I am looking for a tailgate for my truck also, relative used it and doesnt know how to back up a trailer so i am looking for a decent price on an aftermarket gate.
