Heater Blower

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone knows why my heater blower speed on my 95 jeep wrangler only works on hi speed? If I need to replace something what? Also my heater blower motor is making screaching noises? Do I need to replace the motor? Lube it? How hard is it to replace? Thanks for the help

Re: Heater Blower

Your heater motor resistors are likely burnt out. They giv you the lower fan speeds.

The heater motor is under the dash on the right side and the resistors are behind the right speaker.

If you are as cold as we were last week, that is why the noise from the motor. A new motor would likely fix the noise and also prevent the resistors from burning again but you could try lubing the bushings too. It would likely work for a while.
