Which E30??

Hello All, Registered today... I currently own a 330ci Sport, but am hopefully selling soon, costing too much to sit on my drive all day.

I am looking to replace with an E30 (Saloon or Touring) manual. I have been looking at the slim pickings on various web sites but looks like people want to keep hold of these gems.

Is there anywhere that gives a breakdown of which model is which? ie which model has which engine/config etc?

Anyone got a sec that can give this info would be a huge help to me.

One other thing, I am guessing high mileage is the normal for cars this age, but should I be wary of anything over 150,000??

Cheers,
RM.

Re: Which E30??

318i=4cylinder 1.8L engine(just weak base model)
325e=inline 6cylinder 2.8L(e stands for econmy, still prity weak)
325i=inline 6cylinder 2.5L(higher red line better perf)
325is=same at above + limited slip diff., Leather Recaro bucket seats, only came in 5speed,only 2door, and rear trunk lip spoiler
sugjestion get an 88-89 325is=ABS, no airbag, Elipsiod reflecktors, full instument "computer"(clock + cool measuring features) and tucked in Steel Bumpers(good for bashing)
as for the high mileage its no problem at all for these small 6s just the timeing belt is important
