gears sliping

i have a 95 geo tracker that slips in first to second. its an automatic.
only every once in a while like 2-3 times a month. whats wrong?

a couple diffirent things could be wrong. you could have a shift selinoid out or a leak in your torqe converter. one or the other. let me know if this is helpful
