Re: speakers

I have a 2000 that fits 6 1/2 in the doors and nothing in the dash. 98 and 2000 are real close. If there are speakers in the dash they should be 4x6.

Re: speakers

Remember, the stock speakers are 6ohms.

You cannot just swap any speaker in there or you will blow the amp in your cd player.

Most aftermarket are 4 ohms and if you install them in a 6ohm factory system you will overheat your amp and ruin it in short order.

Try these http://www.crutchfield.com/S-RHT9XgWQO5T/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=51400&I=113KFC467C those r real good 4 by 6's. and then for the 6 1/2's http://www.crutchfield.com/S-RHT9XgWQO5T/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=52000&I=113KFC1669 . These are real good speakers i have them in mine they actaully put out some good bass and are cheaply priced. check 'em out.

Re: speakers

Everybody has their favorite brands.Just like dmbrisket said, you get what you pay for and you pay for the name.Chances are if your replacing stock, anything will sound better.

Re: speakers

I highly recommend Infinity.

You can get them super cheap off of ebay and their sound is just about as crystal clear and powerful as anyone would want.
