??d16z6 rebuild questions??
i have a 94 civic ex 5sp. with a d16z6 all engine components are still stock. it has 168000 miles on it and the clutch is bad. i've been working on the body but now i need help with the motor. what should i do? i want to put a turbo on eventulley. how should i rebuild my d16z6 so that is has the power i want and is able to support a turbo, or should i think about a swaping to a different motor, what kind of motor? if not what kind of crank, cam, rods, pistons, etc should i get and what should i do to the block and head? also what will i have to do to the tranny?

Re: ??d16z6 rebuild questions??
What I Would Suggjest To You Is A Swap. I Would Look For A B-18b1 Or B-18c1, The Swap Its Self Is Not To Difficult. Thats What I Would Do Do Get Alot More Power Instantly. Then You An Later Get A Turbo Kit And Add More Power To It.

Re: ??d16z6 rebuild questions??
if you have 2k swap out for a b18b LS motor, or a b18c1 GS-R motor for 3k, then from there you can worry about upgrading internals and or forced induction.
in the future try using the search option, it goes back four years, almost anything you can possible think of that has to do with civics. youll get a lot more answers, and more quickily, than starting youre own thread, just use the search unless you have a very specific problem.
