Block Heater Cord

Does Anybody Know How To Change A Block Heater Cord In A 2000 Caravan? Tips? Thanks

if your heater core is blocked, try having your cooling system flushed out. If that still doesn't work and you want to manually flush it yourself, that's a tedious task, because you have to pull out the entire dashboard just to gain access to the heater core.

You can't flush the core from the firewall side on the 2000?

Yes you can, disconnect both heater hoses and flush it out. You can backflush and flush it out the normal way following the direction of flow. That saves anyone from pulling out the dash.

That's the way I've always done it. When you said "If that still doesn't work and you want to manually flush it yourself, that's a tedious task, because you have to pull out the entire dashboard just to gain access to the heater core.", it made it sound as though that wasn't a viable option on the 2000's.
