Hot Wheels La Troca- No More Lowrider! Check it out! (56k)

Ok, the The Hooligan isnt quite finished, still waiting on some minor details, but I have started on a new project. It doesnt have a name yet though. Anyway, its a Chevy Pickup lowrider thing that I have a few options with.

Im deciding between doing another rat, which is the easiest because I dont have to repaint. Or a lakes truck, which would have full moon discs and a flat white paint job with a red socal paint job. Or a lowered shop truck, which would just have a lot of petina and maybe some lettering on the side.

But for now, onto the pics!

Heres how it started out:

Diassembled:

And here it is after I roughed it up, lowered it, and mocked it up with some new wheels:

Im going to paint over all the gold, so no worries there

Comments Welcome!!!!

Use Best Off oven cleaner to strip the chrome. Will it be repainted?

Im still debating on that. As it sits right now, the hood and both skirts are primer grey, and one of the doors will soon be primer black. I think im going to go with the ratty parts truck look.

Ill have more pics in a little while.

It's MUCH better now. Did you get those wheels of another one and paint them?

Actually, the wheels are the original wheels from the Hooligan that I painted.

Its pretty good. the fender could have been masked a lil better and at some angles it looks more like a reck then a rat. Good effort though..
