a few things at once

well first i noticed as i drove..that the auto door locks were lockin/unlockin by themselves, then i felt car get sluggish when the locks were going crazy...next thing i knew the "service engine soon" light came on.... when i came to a stop...car was very sluggish to get up to speed....I arrived at destination, car started up with engine warning light still on..bbut didnt drive as bad....but from time to time it happens...all i know is when i hear them door locks going crazy..i get ready for some slow chuggin.....anyone else come across anything like this problem before...or give me some hint on why?......electrical short maybe?

Go get the codes read and come back with what the exact codes were.

You can get them checked at Autozone for free.

Also, what year is your truck?
