88 corolla question

Could a 88 corolla gts do low 14s in the quarter with these mods..

Catless with new exhaust
Headers
Port and polished engine
intake
And some of the engine is rebuilt..

no, sorry the 4ag is better known for it's reviness and fun factor not power. I have some work done to my ae86 and I may e in the 14's but the list of mods is a bit longer than that. But you could probably get to 14 easier than me due to drive train power loss in the ae86 (drive shaft tansmission, rearend all adds drag and makes you get about 10-15 hp lett too the ground. on the other hand I don't know how much your car weighs

I have a 1988 Corolla DX. I am not sure of the model of engine installed on it. It is 1300 cc engine. I would appreciate if anyone could let me know the tuning procedure of its engine

All you really need is spark plugs, maybe spark plug wires, air filter, PCV valve, fuel filter and I think that would be it. Adjusyt the idle by using a timing light. Make sure the timing marks are highlighted with white chalk etc. so you can use the light properly.
