under the dash on the passenger is usalllly were its located,just look under there.youll have to remove the water/coolant lines first,then check the valve at the bottom,these should be on the firewall under the hood.just look for two lines with screwable clamps on the fire wallone goes to the engine the other goes to the water pump.if you cant do it your self you can bypass it using whats already under the hood.1st you take the line on the water pump and put it straight to the engine.thats all.you wont have heat but you wont have steam either.you see the water pump has a hose going to the heater core ,then from the core theres a hose that travles to the block,just a simple bypass.be sure not to leave hoses laying around the mani fold or anything els that is hot.if you still need more info on the removal of the heater core just tell me.but let us knowwhat happines.i hope i helped you a little
