Well, guys...I'm finally getting "sprayed"....

Yep, the nx nitrous express wet kit will be here in the next 2 weeks. I couldn't take staying in the 12s, so I got a kit coming my way. I'll have my new rearend in this week, and then I'll just sit back and wait for the man in the brown truck to get here. I'm going conservative on it at first, probably a 75-100shot. We'll see how the truck handles it, and go from there. I'm really looking for some low 11s out of the 100 shot, and then I'm going to make plans to beef up the low end alittle more and really push this thing.

well soon it will be "all bottle no throttle" lolz anyways great times your running already, but your trap speed is definitly alittle on the low side for the E.T. your running. ( i'm use to imports running that trap speed and still in the mid 13's ) the big shot of juice would definitly help in all areas giving you have the traction for it.

be careful with those wet kits, even though they made some advances in nozzle design, fuel will never have the same flow properties as a gas so its very posible to get different Af ratios between cilinders, or in worst cases backfire. The severity of this varies greatly from car to car depending on manifold design.

Personally I would opt for a properly tuned dry kit or it you can afford it a direct port.

Anyway just my opinion and good luck.

You know, bottles are for babies! LOL. Just J/K, although it does make me a little sad to see a fellow Chevrolet person revert to the bottle. But hey, you'll def. be well into the 11s I bet with a 100 shot.

You keep on and you'll be faster then that 10 second Silverado with the turbo.

It also makes me sad to see a fellow chevy on the bottle but what do you do, then again i compare everything to topfuel and funny car and they run on the bottle so whatever gets you down the track the quickest ehh.

That's because his truck is not very aerodynamic and it hurts him on the top end. The force of the wind is much greater at 100+ mph, than at the beginning.

I love how you start out by saying you are getting bored with 12s...
Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

Yeah, I know its sad that I have to resort to the bottle, but I still have a little while to get a new best motor run. To be honest with you guys, I'm really getting the bottle for more of a comfort factor. I do alot of racing on the street, and alot of it involves some money switching hands. I can pretty much beat anything in my area, but there are times when the tires cut loose on me, and I need that extra kick in the pants to put me back ahead. Basically, I won't be spraying it alot, it's really there "just in case". Besides, I've still got awhile to change my mind and sell the kit to my buddy, if I want to stay "pure". Only time and my next trip to the track will tell. I'll keep you guys updated.

Awww, I say go turbo if you can spare the coin. That way your still just burning gas and air.

it's sad that your going to the bottle...

but i'm happy that it is going to get you into the 11's... any chance you can't push 11's without spraying?

If your going to go that far you might aswell just run on nitromethane instead.
