97 CR-V Ready for Coolant Flush-and-Fill

Anyone know if the coolant in the 97 CR-Vs is just regular old coolant, or did Honda pull a Volkswagen and go with a "dealer only" coolant?

No its just ordinary coolant. Just make sure its for aluminum blocks. There is also a coolant thats for steel blocks. There is a differance. I think you wanna look for one with ethyl glycal or something fansy like that. It should also say in the owners manual.
