Re: wolf!

id say they are not ment for a home, the wolfs insticts would still kick in at times and could be dangerous, why dont u just get a Husky, Alaskan malimute, or an Akita

Just go for the Huskies. Unless you're super rich and can afford to create a natural environment for the wolf it just seems cruel to try to domesticate it. And getting one from the wild is just plain dangerous.

Huskies are great! They look like wolves which is what you're really going for. Right? They're some of the kindest dogs on the planet. Check out my pair:

Please leave the wolf in his natural environment. Think twice before you get a dog. It'll give you a lot of work. Dogs are pets, not pupets. You'll have to take care of him, even when you don't fell like it. Dogs are wonderfull, I can't think what it would be living without one, but sometimes they can be a pain in the ass! Be ready for it.

I've owned a few huskies and they are a great dog. They can be a great family dog and great with people. A wolf on the other hand is still a wild and must be kept seperate from other dogs and people. You can get them, but its a bad idea in my opinion.

Re: wolf!

hell, i know a guy that used to own a half wolf half german shepard, and it still acted with a wild nature, they eventually took it to the pound for someone to adopt, let alone a full wolf.

Re: wolf!

Keep in mind all the dogs you're talking about require a LOT of exercise; if there's no room to run and you're not into running with them, they'll get pretty ornery.

Wolf pups can go wild, and it's generally said that they need to be at least 2nd or 3rd generation removed from the wild before they're safe pets.

Re: wolf!

MUHAHAHA PUPPIES! Sorry, Id say go get a mutt from the pound if you want a dog. They make the best dogs. Granted they usually end up being ugly when they get older but they are still cool dogs. Or if you really want a wolf go tie a steak around your waist and go running through a pack of wolves, youll be popular with the wolves in no time!
