Bypass filtration

I found a forum that talks about bypass filters. Some of these filters go down to the 1 micron or smaller level. A standard filter does about 10-25 microns. I found it interesting and thought maybe some of you guys/gals would like to read about these amazing results (25thousand mile oil changes, super clean oil, and Toilet paper filtration to the .85 micron.

Give it a read.

I think I will be buying a remote dual filter system and two full flow/bypass filters by Frantz.

With a combination of synthetic and bypass filtration you can make your engine outlast your vehicle.

Anyways, I would like to see some feedback just to see what you guys think. I haven't found any information I this forum on bypass filtration and thought it might be a good topic. I would like to see if anyone is interested or is already using a bypass or dual filtration system.

Re: Bypass filtration

These have been around for a long time.
The toliet paper insert will trap suspended
particles, but it wont dispell the asids,
and other products of combustion..
Also, some off the additives in the
formula everoperate, or become contaminated.
Your best bet is to change oil, and filter (standard 5-W-30)
every 3000.
