Who in the world made this set up? By year’s that don’t even go together? 97-03? That’s not even a body style. 1999-2004 is MK4 next body is MK5 and it go's down. MK2 MK1 then there is pre MK's... get someone who knows what they are talking about god...

yeah i was looking at that too
it should be:
mk. I- 1975 to 1984
mk. II- 1985 to 1992
mk. III- 1993 to 1999.5
mk. IV- 1999.5 to 2005
mk. V- 2005 to whenever

the person that organized the forums at automotiveforums.com wasn't a vw enthusiest

Re: who set this up

So how can I get to be a VW moderator? I would devote my time to make this be a good place to come so that maybe we can get more activity on these VW forums.

Re: who set this up

If you have a suggestion on how it should be set up differently, please feel free to PM a mod or admin (ie, Aves911). He will be happy to address your concerns...

As far as becoming a moderator, our general rule is if you ask to become one, you definantly will not become one.

But yeah, like I said, if you have any such suggestions PM a moderator or Aves911, or post in the Hot or Not section of the forum, located under AF in general...that way it will come to our attention alot sooner.

Re: who set this up

Thank you for giving me a name. The reason I posted instead of sending a moderator a pm is because one was not listed under any of the Volkswagen Sub-Forums, they are all blank. That was another thing I was thinking about along with the way the Volkswagen section is set up. Again thanks and I will talk with Aves911. My thoughts were that if someone is not in charge of a section in that they themselves are involved in that world they should find someone that is. As in myself I own a 2001 Jetta Wolfsburg Ed. And am looking for an MK2 GTI. If someone from vwvortex.com came here looking for information or to talk to someone about a specific generation they would not come back. I only wish to draw more people not send them away. Thank you for your time.
