XM Satellite Radio

I just got the XM universal tuner that connects directly to my aftermarket sony head unit. I have about 4.5 feet of cable and i need to find a place within that length to install the tuner box. anyone have any ideas. Im not sure if this is the right place to ask this question ... maybe you could point me in the right direction or give me some ideas.
