96 ram 1500 radio problems
About 2 weeks ago my wife was driving my truck and said the radio was making a static noise on every station.One week later the radio went out completely.I checked all the fuses,(good).Also took the radio out to check for bad wire and loose connections.(good).When i put the radio back in the truck the clock on the face of the radio was on again.It just makes a static noise on all the stations.Also noticed the cigarette lighter doesn't work anymore either.Just curious as to what the problem might be.New Dodge radio is $700.00.
****Follow Up****
Called Dodge dealership and was informed that they were having problems with this radio.Cost is $700.00.I guess something shorted out inside the radio or something.Guess i'll try a new one.
