Just wanted to post this site for you guys who plan on upgrading your wheel and tire size. It'll help you keep from losing power from your tranny.

Hey, thank you so much! I went from stock 14s to 17's, and I've been wondering how much my speedometer is off. Less than going by those speed wagons and trying to get it right, I haven't been able to find anything on how to find that out.

Well it says that my speedometer is 3.06% too slow.
Kind of sucks with the 17's though....you can really feel it off the line especially how much longer it takes to get them going. Oh well, they look sweet though.

OBVIOUSLY! Sorry, I didn't know I made it seem like that was what I was saying. I wanted to find out how much my speedo was off, I know it won't make me go slower. <duh> Didn't know I came across that way. All I was saying is that my acceleration off the line is much slower because there's so much more wheel now than what I had before.

Hey guys pick up the new car and driver ......It has a great article on how speedometers on cars do not actually tell the true speed.

Yeah the same thing with me the other night...i flew by one doing like 65(according to the speedometer) at it registered me at 61...so i figure that with the variables of the radar is always like 2 miles off plus the speedometer being off by another 2 its about right.
