Question f350 blowing glow plug fuse

Hey guys I need a hand . My F350 keeps blowing the Glow Plug Controller fuse and will not let me go far. Need my truck so I can go fishing .. and get back to work tomorrow .. Any suggestions about the fuse blowing?

What year 350? If it's a powerstroke with the underhood harness, check the harness to the under valve cover connector. Sometimes they rub or burn out. Also, check resistance on the glow plugs because. The resistance should be high, I'm not sure of the spec. but if you find one shorted out, you'll definately see it. If the fuse pops as soon as you put a new one in, it's probably a plug. If it's fairly intermittant, it's probably wiring or maybe a glow plug controller.

It's a 97
Thanks I'll check the harness. I heard that sometimes it is in those wires aor under the valve cover. Thanks ")
